ONE WORKSHOP.

MULTIPLE DISCIPLINES.

ONE STANDARD.

A well-equipped workshop for servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repair across a broad range of vehicles. Every core discipline is delivered in-house or arranged on your behalf, so a well looked-after car doesn't mean five different garages.

Core Capabilities

Every discipline, one workshop.

How We Work

What happens when you bring your car in?

We look before we work

Every job starts with an inspection and diagnosis, so the work matches the fault. Leaks and noises are traced to their source before anything is replaced.

Done to the manufacturer's spec

Servicing follows your manufacturer's schedule, with fluids and parts fitted to specification. Each logbook service is documented so your service history stays complete.

Checked before handover

Repairs are re-tested and the car gets a final quality check before you collect it.

A clear list, your choice

If a roadworthy inspection finds items that need fixing, you get a clear list. We can carry out the repairs, or you can take the list elsewhere.

Mechanical and panel work together

Smash repairs happen in the same workshop as the mechanical side, so a car with crash damage to the body and the suspension stays with one team.

Easy to reach

We're at 5 Quinn Street, a few minutes' drive from the Dandenong CBD and station, and open weekdays, plus Saturday by appointment. Hours are listed below.

Independent, and upfront about it.

SS Automotive Group is an independent mechanic. We aren't a dealer and we aren't affiliated with any car maker. The ACCC says a new-car warranty typically lets you choose your own repairer for servicing, as long as the manufacturer's maintenance and servicing standards are met. That's how we carry out every logbook service.

Where a job is better handled elsewhere, such as dealer warranty claims or complex make-specific diagnostics, we'll say so. For everything else, from scheduled servicing to car repairs and smash repairs, the work is done here. You can read what customers say about it on our reviews page.
