We may need to reschedule a booking if parts are delayed or a job takes longer than expected. If that happens, we will contact you and arrange a new time.

5. Payment

Payment is due when you collect your vehicle, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We will give you a tax invoice listing the work done and the parts supplied. We accept credit card, debit card and mobile (tap-and-go) payments. [TODO: any card surcharge]

7. Parts and warranties

Our services and the parts we supply come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a replacement or refund for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

If you think something is wrong with work we have done, please contact us as soon as possible so we can inspect the vehicle and put it right.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage that was not caused by our failure to take reasonable care, or that was not reasonably foreseeable. This includes pre-existing wear, faults or damage to your vehicle that were not part of the work we were asked to do, and personal items left in the vehicle.
